Q: ONCE
REGISTERED, IS THE PLAYER GUARANTEED A TEAM?
A: No. There are
usually more than enough players to form a team. Sadly,
there are not always enough coaches to create a real team
that gets to play the season. Teams can not play without an
adult coach to guide and manage the team. This where parents
come in to step up and volunteer to coach. We offer free
training and vast amounts of information and support. [go
here for information on coaching]
Q: IS THERE A
PLACE FOR A CHILD WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
A: Yes.
TOPSoccer
is a community based training and team placement program for young
athletes with special needs. These needs are because of a
physical or mental disability that might discourage or
preclude the child from participating in a sports program.
TOPSoccer is classified as Division 5. This is a fantastic
opportunity for players that are not able to participate in
the other Divisions.
