High Comp Coach Meetings
- During the year, it is important for the high comp coaches and the Technical
Director to sync up. Meetings are held at forth Thursday of the month at

Coach
Meetings
The Technical Director hosts the monthly High Comp Coach
meetings. The schedule is posted below. Each Head Coach should plan
on attending these meetings (in the rare case they can not make
attend a meeting, a representative should be sent).

Education
Coaches are strongly encouraged to continue their professional development by
taking state and / or nationally sponsored license courses and
participating in the coach education program offered by our
Technical Director.

There are many reference documents, forms, and other written
information that have been developed to assist the coach and other
parent volunteers throughout the season.

Injuries on the Field
When there is ANY injury on the field the coach MUST fill out an injury report.
Even if things seem okay, you MUST still fill out the report. It is vital that
the right insurance form be filled out for the incident. If there is any
confusion of what form to use for teams that are dual-registered with CYSA and
US Club credentials, please contact the League Insurance Coordinator for
assistance. Filling the wrong form can delay the process.
To report injuries during a
CYSA-sanctioned
event/practice:

Fill out a copy of the "Youth Soccer
Case Report". There is a copy in every CYSA Team Manual and is also available on
the CYSA-North website (click
here for case report).
