With nearly 3,000 kids playing soccer, field usage by Fusion SC is massive. To provide space for practices, games, tournaments, camps and clinics, we work closely with Livermore Area Recreation & Park District (LARPD) and Livermore Valley Unified School District (LVUSD) to obtain field permits. The club and the school district work out potential school sites that Recreational teams may practice on. Also, the Recreational teams typically use available space for training in neighborhood parks. There are no age groups associated with any particular parks or fields except when scheduled games occur.
The club's Premier Program utilizes primarily the Roberston Park Soccer Complex and Independence Park/Kellman Fields. These two facilities provide 6 full size soccer fields to hold training sessions and games. The two Robertson Park grass fields are targeted to be converted to all weather turf fields in 2011. This offers Fusion SC's Premier Program greater flexibility for training, games, hosting tournaments and hold coaching clinics to further expand and support plans for the competitive soccer program.
